Peace On The Sabbath: October 22, 2010

According to The Holy Scriptures, the world was created within six days and God ceased on the seventh day and hallowed it. Even if an individual does not believe in the story of creation, the principles that were left on record are in fact undeniable. We know and understand (those that believe in a higher power) that a being of God’s capacity does not sleep or need rest. But as humans we can take a very important lesson from the verse, the lesson being that rest is imperative. We must realize that personal moments are necessary to maintain our sanity. All warriors at some point need a moment of serenity, this is just something for the reader to consider. Take a pull and breathe slowly. Take a break, and cherish every breath of life.

  1. This is very true. Sometimes we work so hard and sometimes nonstop even. I think so much more would get accomplished and with better results if we took that moment and stopped to rest. Some parents miss very important parts of their childrens lives and we may miss important moments in our loved ones lives because we cease to rest; take a moment and just enjoy the gift of life.
